Guest Experiences at Country Campsites
For years, guests have returned to Country Campsites for peaceful stays, warm hospitality, and the natural beauty of the Catskills. We’re grateful for the kind words and proud to share what visitors have experienced during their time here.
My husband and I stayed in the hideaway cabin for two nights. On arrival, there was firewood, towels, sheets, pillows and soaps available for us to use. The hideaway cabin was a super cozy and relaxing stay for us. There is a pond next to the cabin and a walking trail behind the cabin. We were about 30 minutes from Kaaterskill Falls, Overlook Mountain trail, and Woodstock where we visited the flea market. Bob was very accommodating and checked on us daily. He even gifted us a mug to commemorate our stay… We would absolutely recommend this stay and would love to return in the future!
We needed a last minute place to stay… He responded within minutes and prepared the place for a warm welcome… We enjoyed the outside hot shower and meeting farm animals… Our dog made friends with Eddie and Coco… It will be a lifelong memory.

This little place was so cozy and perfect! My boyfriend and our two dogs stayed… The fish tank and back deck were our favorites… Couldn’t ask for anything more :)
Great location and a fun property which includes mini horses, a pool and hiking trail… Very responsive and accommodating… We’ll definitely come back!
